April Watts “The Voice That Electrifies Your Story By Cutting Thru The Mix” is a skilled Voice Actor & Audio Describer with a broad array of expertise. This breadth of experience not only electrifies your story but helps your company connect to the listener in a way that they see themselves in your offering.
With storytelling being fostered by her parents at a young age, April has also had a successful career being a highly sought-after public speaker/subject matter expert on the national stage regarding issues related to workplace violence prevention. What is Audio Description?
✅ The American Council for the Blind defines AD as Narration added to the soundtrack to describe important visual details that cannot be understood from the main soundtrack alone.
Audio description is a means to inform individuals who are blind or have low vision about visual content essential for comprehension. Audio description of video provides information about actions, characters, scene changes, on-screen text, and other visual content. Audio description supplements the regular audio track of a program. Audio description is usually added during existing pauses in dialogue.
When developing a successful AD program it is always recommended that you include someone who is blind or has low vision. “Nothing about us without us”.
